So, what makes me qualified to do your wedding reception or other
party?
I started as a professional Disc Jockey in Portland, Maine back when
new wave was king in1985 at the age of 15. I
worked for almost every Portland, Maine radio station over the next 13
years. At the same time, I worked at a couple of the local TV
stations and wrote newspaper columns for small weekly newspapers
throughout Greater Portland.
In late 1996, several months after my own wedding, I was asked by
someone to perform as the DJ/MC at their wedding the following
spring.
Then, on Independence Day 2001, I decided that it was time to create
my own independence and go full-time as a Disc Jockey. I felt that I
could give my clients the full-time service they deserve. I have not
looked back since.
In
late 2009, I decided that I was tired of the endless snow and ice of
Maine and moved my family and business to Clearwater, Florida.
Other accomplishment sinclude co-founding the Maine Disc Jockey Network,
a past
Regional Network Leader for the National Association of Mobile
Entertainers, a founding executive member of the Professional Disc
Jockeys of New England and a former member of the American Disc
Jockey Association.
In 2003, I also launched a wedding portal to enable brides to find
wedding professionals in Maine called the Maine Wedding Planner.
So, what's the point?
The bottom line is that I have a passion for what I do and I
actually do this for a living. This is not just a hobby for me like
most of my competition. I have to be on my "A" game at EVERY SINGLE
EVENT.
I have entertained at over 400 wedding receptions celebrations as of
January 2010 and look forward to entertaining guests at your event too!

Every bit as professional as you could wish for. He
kept the dance floor packed all night and never let
us go off schedule (but was totally
flexible and un-intrusive at the same time!) He let
the boys borrow the mic for a heartfelt rendition of
"Sweet Caroline"! This is an interesting observation
but I have never heard so many compliments at a
wedding about the volume of the music. It was never
uncomfortable- he exceeded our expectations! He was
always easy to get hold of and was very friendly-
we really enjoyed working with him!
